Jeff Berkin graduated from the College of William and Mary in 1978, and from the American University
Law School in 1981. he joined the FBI as a special agent in 1983, and for the past two and a half years has
been the Assistant Special Agent in Charge of the FBI's Milwaukee Field Office. He was promoted in May 2002 to
Deputy Assistant Director and transferred back to FBI HQ in Washington, D.C. He will be living in Northern
Virginia with his wife, Stepanie, and 5 year-old son, Andrew.
Dec. 2002 Update: Jeff Berkin has been promoted to Deputy Assistant Director of the FBI in Washington, D.C., where he is assigned to the Security Division. There, he is responsible for physical, personnel, technical, and information systems security for 26,000 FBI employess and over 700 facilities worldwide. Jeff Berkin |
