It looks like I will miss the Nashville reunion but I wanted to touch base before it occurs. I am in my twenty-seventh year of working for JPMorgan Chase and its predecessors, and am back in Japan for the second time professionally, this time for the past five years. I have three lovely daughters: Ascia (19), Adena (18) and Alecia (16).
Left-to-right: Adena, Doug, Ascia and Alecia Wallingford. Ascia is a 2003 graduate of ASIJ so I was delighted that she could attend the alma mater. The nightlife in Tokyo for a teen continues to be "other worldly" so it has been a strange experience to be a parent in this type of environment. I have been fortunate enough to stay connected with ASIJ as a member of the board of directors for the past three and a half years. I do hope you all have a great time in Tennessee! Doug Wallingford
